This is not a government website

Sainik Desk has no connection, recognition or agreement with the Government of India, the Ministry of Defence, the Army, any Sainik Board, any Zila Sainik Welfare Office, SPARSH, or any other government body. The word "Sainik" in the name is there for the reader, not to look official — which is exactly why this line appears on every page.

The figures here are estimates, not entitlements

This site explains what publicly issued rules, orders and memoranda say, and calculates on that basis. But your actual entitlement is what is written in your Pension Payment Order (PPO) and what your Record Office or pension disbursing office sanctions. No figure, page or calculator here can take the place of that decision.

An honest warning about going out of date

Rates and rules keep changing. That is why every page shows a "last checked" date and every rate shows where it came from. If the date looks old, assume the page may be too — and tell us.
